Madonna, Highest Paid Female Singer

Queen of Pop Madonna has been named as the highest paid female singer in the world.

According to the new Guinness Book of Records, Madge has managed to knock the mumsy Britney Spears from the top spot by making ??26.6million in 2004??¦no doubt she will hold on to the title.

Madge is just one of the 2,244 people who managed to set new records in 2005 along with James Blunt, Arctic Monkeys and Simon Cowell.

Editor-in-chief of the new book, Craig Glenday said: “We’ve got a really strong mix of absolutely everything we could think of from wacky sports as well as serious news and politics.
